The PioData external Blu-ray drive was created to provide improved burning performance and disc content longevity which are critical applications when burning important content onto optical discs. This drive offers the ability to read and playback the highest resolution 4K UHD format when using compatible software (software not included) as well as record content up to 128GB BDXL, the highest disc capacity available today. In addition, the drive remains backwards compatible to read/write (50GB) BD-R dual layer, (25GB) BD-R as well as all forms of DVD and CD media. The drive has features such as a QuickPlay which enables movie discs to be ready faster, a Noise Suppression design to minimize noise, an Anti-Dust design to increase durability, and Precision Writing Technology to minimize write errors, and the drive supports a wide range of blank media.
